Goodridge recertified to ISO/TS16949

Goodridge is delighted to announce its recertification to ISO/TS16949, the international automotive quality standard.

Auditors visited Goodridge on 25 – 27 July, delivering the result in the same month that Goodridge’s two UK facilities relocated to a single new premises. Today’s result shows a marked improvement on the previous 2014 audit and reflects the planning and work that has supported the merging of two operational and quality systems.

ISO/TS 16949:2009, in conjunction with ISO 9001:2008, defines the quality management system requirements for the design and development and production of automotive-related products, taking into account supporting functions including design, headquarters and distribution.

Chief Executive Jon Hourihan said: “Our recertification to the stringent standards of ISO/TS16949 shows an immense improvement to our results since 2014 and my thanks go to the staff who led and contributed to our audit. To secure such a recertification within weeks of moving two manufacturing sites to new premises is a huge achievement. We will now focus on addressing the issues flagged by the auditors through our continual improvement based Quality Management System, which always guarantees Goodridge customers the best product, on time, every time.”
