Day 3 – Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT2 | Developed from the V8 Vantage N24, the first full-house, new-generation Vantage racecar was officially announced in January 2008.
Built on a standard Vantage chassis, the rest of the car is virtually bespoke with enlarged 4.5 litre V8, modified suspension with wider track, bespoke gearbox and carbon fibre body panels. The car weighed 1175kgs, produced 450bhp and was run by privateers in Europe & the USA from 2008 until 2011. This car is fully plumbed with Goodridge 600-Series (brakes & clutch), 700K-Series (gearshift & water), 710-Series with JIC & Wiggins connectors (fuel, oil & water) and a bespoke HL836 hardline system (brakes & airjack).
