Day 7 – Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE | The Aston Martin Racing works team returned to their GT racing roots in 2012 and developed the Vantage GTE from the previous GT2 customer car for the new FIA World Endurance Championship. Significant improvements to engine, transmission and suspension as well as a lot of CFD work turned the car into a front-runner.
The car weighed 1195kgs, produced 450bhp and has been run by the works team and privateers Worldwide since 2012. This car is fully plumbed with Goodridge 600-Series (brakes & clutch), 700K-Series (gearshift & water), 710-Series & 910-Series with JIC & Wiggins connectors (fuel, oil & water) and a bespoke HL836 hardline system (brakes & airjack).
