Goodridge attends the Farnborough International Airshow 2026

How has it already been more than a month since the Farnborough International Airshow! There were certainly some impressive aircraft and helicopter displays, but Farnborough is about so much more than what is happening in the skies. For Goodridge, some of the standout moments came from connecting and networking across the aerospace and defence community. It was a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, including Alan Fisher at Farnborough Aerospace Consortium and Belinda Austin at ADS, and to make new connections, including Stevette Potts at Cre8tive Space Limited. Just as important, however, is understanding how our industry can make a difference beyond business. It was a privilege to attend the FAC reception and hear more about the inspiring work of Aerobility, which promotes inclusive aviation and greater accessibility, and Service Dogs UK, which supports military and blue-light veterans living with PTSD through specially trained assistance dogs. Both organisations provided a powerful reminder that the value of events such as Farnborough is not measured only by the technology and aircraft on display. It is also found in the conversations we have, the relationships we build and the positive difference we can make together.A memorable week for Goodridge, with plenty of conversations and connections to build upon.
