Production Supervisor

Job Description:

Assist the Operations Manager responsible for the operation of the Manufacturing and Assembly areas in terms of production, quality, cost, delivery, technical, safety, and human resources, whilst respecting the defined goals. Responsible for the day to day management of people within production, to ensure company’s targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements, ensuring that staff comply with health, safety and standard operating procedures. Strive to continually improve using Lean tools to reduce costs, improve production and quality. Act with minimum supervision. Decisions and results have an impact on the function and their success. Performance affects the function’s image. The position has a requirement for the applicant to be able to carry out shift work if required.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

A time served multi-skilled engineer to work on shifts as required providing breakdown and maintenance cover on a varied range of machinery.

  • Assess competence of Operators to set up, operate and changeover equipment. Provide Operator training as necessary, and provide signed record of training to Maintenance Supervisor at end of shift.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled during the shift to required standard.
  • Conduct continuous machine observation and measurement during the shift, identifying potential failure or deterioration in output, waste or quality performance from machine standards.
  • Determine cause of potential failure or performance deterioration, and either complete remedial work during shift or brief subsequent shift and Maintenance Supervisor on issue, cause and recommended solution.
  • Use manuals and failure history to develop preventative tasks. Brief the Maintenance Supervisor of the task and its purpose. Train engineers on other shifts how to perform new tasks.

The Role:
To compete any assigned task from your Team Leader in a timely manner and to the quality expectations of both the customer and the company.

Key Responsibilities:To complete / assemble any order allocated to the post holder, to exceed both customer and company expectations.

To ensure any tasks allocated to the post holder is completed in a timely manner paying attention to both written and drawing instructions.

To ensure that the post holder works in a safe manner observing company Health and Safety procedures as well as company policies as laid down in the company handbook.

Customer Service / Account Coordinator

The Company:

The Role:
To act as administrative, direct contact for customer sales activities. Including acting as a single point of contact for receipt and processing of customer schedules and coordinating ‘small’ customer accounts, including scorecard management.

Key Responsibilities:
Maximise the opportunity, turnover and profitability of new and existing OEM customer accounts.

Support the OEM Commercial team to achieve the above objective.

Successfully complete and manage the order processing of OEM customer schedules and sales orders.

Successfully manage and report any fluctuations in OEM customer schedules/ sales orders and sales trends.

Successfully manage and respond to customer queries with the relevant supportive data and information.

Support the relevant business functions in successfully completing new part creation and change management (i.e. setting up customer accounts, creating new scheduling contracts, confirming pricing).

Support the relevant business functions in resolving customer queries (i.e. invoice queries, shipment queries).

Receive and proactively make telephone calls and manage correspondence to deliver the best possible customer service and satisfaction.
